EELA Open Door Policy: Partnering with Families
At Empowered Early Learning Academy, we value strong partnerships with families and believe open communication is essential for your child’s success. Our Open Door Policy ensures families can connect with teachers, ask questions, and stay engaged in their child’s learning.
To make this work effectively while respecting classroom routines, here’s what families can expect:
1. Scheduled Check-Ins
While spontaneous chats are welcome at drop-off or pick-up, we encourage scheduled meetings or calls for in-depth discussions. This ensures teachers can give your concerns their full attention without disrupting classroom activities.
2. Advance Notice
Whenever possible, let us know in advance if you’d like a meeting or phone conversation. This allows us to plan time for a meaningful and focused conversation.
3. Email & Messaging
Quick questions or updates can always be sent via email or Procare. Teachers aim to respond promptly while balancing classroom responsibilities.
4. Respecting Classroom Time
During instructional hours, teachers are focused on the children. This helps ensure your child receives consistent attention and support.
Our goal is to balance accessibility with quality teaching, creating an environment where children thrive and families feel heard. By working together, we can build strong partnerships that support your child’s growth, learning, and happiness.
